Hi, my name is Eleazar Bendixen

I have been blessed to have been raised in a Christian home with Godly parents and brothers. It was because of the daily scripture reading and prayer in our family that I recognized at the young age of five that I needed to be cleaned from my sin. I knew that I was a sinner, and had transgressed Gods law, I also had many unrealistic fears in my life, like most young children have. But what was I to do about it all?
One night as I was laying in bed I was talking to my older brother (Jeriah) about it. He told me that because of my sin, I was going to Hell!! (Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.)
So after talking to Jeriah about it for a while, he thought I should talk to my Dad. So I crept out of bed and tiptoed downstairs and asked my dad about what I needed to do so I wouldn’t have to go to hell because of my sins. He explained to me how the Bible says that everybody has sinned, but Jesus died on the cross and took all of the sins of the world upon himself, then was resurrected from the dead 3 days later, so that all of mankind could live a life free from sin and death and live eternally with Him!
Here are some verses about that:
John 3:16-17
16.For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

So that Night I prayed and called upon the name of the Lord to cleanse me from my sin, and to set me free from the bondage of guilt and fear, and I was SAVED!! It was a great night!!
The next morning I still remember have a lot of Joy inside of me, and the fear that I once had of going down into our dark scary basement was gone!
