Ok, now onto something more interesting... Kayaking with Josh... It was fun for the first bit... But the water level was very low, hence we did a lot of walking, thus making it take loooonger, therefore we were kayaking into the night when the bugs came out, and the bugs were very thick, so thick that you could hardly open your eyes.... Seriously... They were thick... So try to imagine Kayaking down a river at night with your eyes closed.. ermmm... yeah... fun fun!! :-D

After the open house on Sunday, we left for a long trip down to Memphis Tenn to go to the Funeral of my Great Aunt (my dads, moms, brothers, wife.) She was 94, and they almost made it to 75 year of a wonderful marriage. Here is a note I wrote about it on facebook:

Hello everybody.... I am writing this note from my phone, So if the text looks small that's why. As to the miss spellings and bad Grammar... Well that's another story ;-)
Anywho, I wanted to tell a bit of my observations from the trip we have been on recently.
My Great Aunt died recently down in Memphis Tenn. She was 94 years old. ( Her Husband died a few months back) I never really was all that close to her or the rest of the family down here. I just have some distant memories over the years from seeing them. But I do remember the Love my Aunt and Uncle had for eachother.... But I never really knew how deep that love was, because I haven't lived with them to observe how deep it went.
They where just a few months shy of 75 years of a wonderful marriage... But what made it last so long? What made it SO great? Why were their great grand children so Godly? This was something I had to find out! Because That's the kind of fruit I want to have from myself -Generations of Godly children! And a Long Godly marriage (not for my own glory, but for Gods)
So I listened to some of the children and grand children speak at the Funeral, they told about the normal good things you would hear about most people, her good cooking and caring for the children... But then I caught some things out of the ordinary. They talked about how my Aunt would everyday be at the bedside of my Uncle while he was in the hospital for a couple months before he died. They might be praying or talking or just taking a nap together at the hospital, you just couldn't separate them! I heard alot about how my Aunt and Uncle Honored and revered each other, and the undying love and commitment they had, not only for eachother but for their children.
Something I though was important was they lived close by their children and Grandchildren and would often visit with them all throughout the week, so that way they could train them through their Godly lifestyle how to have a good marriage. Also something else that I found interesting... They had girl that was kinda the "black sheep" of the family, there was a couple sons from different husbands of hers... Normally I wouldn't expect the sons to be the greatest, because of their situation. But Because of the close proximity of how close they lived to eachother, and for the love the flowed out of my great Aunt and Uncle from God onto the boys, they have been raised up just great, and are now Godly men, and are now raising their children in like manner. It was nice to hear all these great things about my Aunt and Uncle... But what made it SO much better, was to see it lived out in the children, grand children and great grand children. It was Outstanding! Oh the blessings one can have from just simply allowing ones self to be a vessel in the masters hands, and having Jesus live through you in every aspect of life!

"But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his Righteousness!"

God Bless you all!
